It's about time someone actually called that loudmouth Burke to task for his
previous work and actually drew attention to how little work he really did
on the Ducks. The Leafs are welcome to this guy next year if they want him.

Yeah, and I've said it before. If Brian Burke was such a great guy, he would
have never been fired from Hartford. The NHL would have never let him walk
away from his executive job so easily. He would have never gotten fired from
his job in Vancouver. The Ducks would have signed him to a long-term deal
that could haven't been ignored.......................

Brian Burke's biggest fan is Brian Burke. After that, it's the media, simply
beacuse Burke is a GM who isn't afraid to speak his mind. Guess what, I'm
not afraid to speak my mind either, but it has never cost me my job! Brian
Burke may be the most over-rated GM in NHL history.

Two little points I would like to mention.

1. Lowe did indeed grossly overpay in terms of giving Penner that
rediculous contract. The out of control salaries are proving that
argument.

2. Lowe likes to boast about his 6 Stanley Cup rings. The thing is if
it wasn't for Gretzky and Messier, Lowe would have zero. That's like
Darren Mccarty bragging about winning the cup this year. It really
wouldn't matter.
